The story of a DRUMMER
I got my first drum set when I was nine and I've been playing ever since. I have my parents to thank for introducing me to all of the best jazz musicians in the world; they really helped set me on the path to the types of music I play today.
Attending Elmhurst University as a Jazz Studies Major gave me the big band and small group experience I needed to really hone in on my skills. This is also when I started performing with my own ensembles outside of the university. I look forward to continuing to make new connections with amazing musicians.
Now, I run my own ensemble and also hire out as a freelance drummer when the opportunity arises. I love what I do and I know you will too.
